The design objective was to create a house fully integrated into its surrounding environment, with comfortable, functional spaces with a good orientation for providing unobstructed views of the sea and the nearby island of Paros throughout. The house consists of two volumes on ground level, connected through a third one on top, creating an outdoor sheltered underpass. This is a volumetric composition where drystone walls alternate with white plastered surfaces, at once consistent with the local Cycladic architecture and modern in character.
